It took me THREE hours to eat breakfast today! Why you must ask? It is because I'm a workaholic! And what does this have to do with anything? I made my breakfast, it was great! Cheese Omelet with a dash of salt. It was extra good because I normally never have breakfast on Saturdays because this is usually the day where I sleep in, or try to. Last night I broke the record of sleeping right after I had dinner. Yes, I know that is bad for you, but I was totally exhausted! So I actually woke up a little before 8 today, and decided I slacked off enough and I must do some work.
After I made a cup of coffee, I was deciding on what would go best with this perfect morning and decided to eat something with cheese! I made the omelet and the next thing I know, I was taking pictures for my magazine project. And for those of you who know me, you will know that once I start on something for related, I lose all sensibility and track of time. I am absolutely horrible that way! The next thing I knew, my breakfast was going to get cold so I decided to eat. This is when I thought of the great of idea of photographing my Japanese cups as images for my magazine proposal. And there I was again, distracted from my breakfast. It was then, that out of the corner of my eyes I saw a raccoon that was the size of a bear (I swear!) walking across my porch! For some odd reason, it reminded me that I didn't actually finish my breakfast yet still. By the time I finished, It was 11ish!
Oh how time passes by when you're having fun!
On a side note, today is a bee-yooo-tee-full day! When I woke up today, the sun was shinning! Yay!

Thinking back to the days...
Disclaimer: This is one of those short posts, where I just write down a random thing I miss, so don't expect too much.
I miss those days where school work was a breeze, and I spent more time playing StarCraft than doing anything else. I don't think it was the actual game that was satisfying, but just the fact that it made me forget that soon, we'll be going our separate ways. It was almost like we won't be going to separate universities, we won't forget or stop caring for one another just because school work got too busy, or that we'll see each other maybe just once or twice a year.
Those were the days.. Maybe when StarCraft II comes out! :)
Haha and now.. to end with my friend FinalFenix's SC2 Promo video! woot woot!!

Current Comic Addiction: Natalie Dee!
Natalie Dee in my opinion as of now is a genius! Her illustrations are simple, yet they can still manage to make me laugh! Check her out at her site, and maybe you can get a t-shirt from her too!
Awesome-ness!

I know this might be a petpeeve of some, but after reading some else's I couldnt help but do my own. You might be inspired as well, who knows! Besides, it wouldn't hurt to get to know me a bit more right?

A Typical Day at School
Classes has once again started, and my sanity is starting to slip already. Some would ask, how exactly is this possible when you only have a maximum of two classes a day? Well these classes are not exactly pleasant. Here is a rundown of my two classes today.
First up, we have our ad design web segment. We are currently learning how to create webpages, which leads to our final assignment of a website creation of our choice. Believe it or not, when I found this class on my timetable, I was excited. What was not to love? Computers and what I thought would be learning new html codes. I was pleasantly excited until the following happened:
This was very disappointing indeed. [ Insert sad face here] But it was awesome to learn all those terms, since those are the parts I usually tuned out of before. Interesting how much you think you know until you run into everything you don't.
A little background information on why this is the case. I'm not being sexist (and can you be when you're discussing about your own sex?) But our program consists of mostly females. Being a person who grew up with mostly male friends, this is extremely hard. From going to discussions regarding StarCraft strategies, to which shade of blond better compliments your skin tone, often I would feel like I was on a different planet all together. However, it was only lately that I came to the conclusion that an overdose of estrogen and computers do not mix!!! Overall, it was a painful experience.
For this semester's liberal elective, I thought it would be interesting to take a philosophy course. Little did I know, it was way more than I expected. This course is on one of my favorite subjects of all times: Sex and Love. We were introduced to the course, with the promise of Plato's Symposium. I was once again excited. I should have seen this as a red flashing sign of trouble. After two courses of introductions I was happily carrying my copy of Symposium to class, imagining our good times together in class. This is what actually happened:
We started off with a poem about a malt that was eaten by a rat, that was scared by a cat, who in turn worried by a dog because he was thrown by a cow? who apparently had a crumpled horn. It was milked by a forlorn maid, who married a lad by a priest who was bald?!!
This prof had not once ceased to surprise me. especially when he asked the question. So why was the maiden forlorn? After many attempts from students, we learn that the maiden was indeed sad because she had to marry a broke guy because they had sex and was pregnant out of wed?! Wow.. totally not what I expected to hear.
This poem was an example of how, with everything relating to one another, it was easier to remember. I had to admit, this actually made sense, since I'm known for my lack of memory. I was revved up and ready to go. Symposium here I come!
Then... I knew it was trouble when he asked us: "Did I tell you guys the story about the Three Little Pigs?" I have to say, never in my life have I seen such a lively performance of the Three Little Pigs. With many "chinny chin chins" later, and the pigs being called %$&$%^%$ stubborn, class was over (poor wolf?). This was when I realized not once have we even mentioned Plato.
The lesson of the day here then is: never have high expectations.

- Turns out we will not be doing anything to do with coding, besides the times when we see it during the split mode in Dreamweaver.
- We will not be doing anything to do with Flash.
- Tutorials on how to do anything takes way too long for it to be comfortable

To Template or not to.. Template?
After surfing the world of Blogger today, I have realized that during this time, I have yet to do something creative to this blog. This is surprising since usually, once I get started on a project, I will break it down and play with it until there is nothing left to do. This time however, I realized that I have no even deviated from the original template. This is very strange. I wanted something done, just SOMETHING! I was even desperate enough to contemplate the idea of installing a third party template. As I browsed through the different selections of templates, I snapped out of my lazy phase and finally realized why I never used templates to begin with. This being the fact that I am an annoyingly difficult to please perfectionist. Every template I considered had a "flaw" of some sort. This made me feel very uneasy and eliminated the idea of borrowing a template to use as my own.
This term at school, a section focuses on the web-based component of advertising. Hopefully, this will spark some creativity and motivation in me. Until then, I shall leave this blog as is. Sorry for the disappointment people. And now since I got all this frustration off my chest, I shall go to sleep and wake up in... FIVE HOURS FOR SCHOOL?!
